Pear tree & progress

A very cold day down on the lotty plot, the wind making things uncomfortable despite the sun this afternoon.
Daughter Pru gave me a very nice Williams Pear tree a few days ago, luckily I managed to get it planted before this recent cold snap.
I planted it in the same raised bed as the Plum tree, keeping the fruit trees together in one place.

I constructed another large raised bed today, I will fill it with soil when the ground dries out and warms up a bit.
